I work with women and men who are lagging or stuck in the transition between their vision and making it real.  They are looking for a new job or career; starting a new family; or in a major life change.   They get clear on where they truly want to go, they get past what stops them (usually fear), and they bring their dream into reality.  A wonderful side effect: they develop personal power.

How I Got Here….

Time and again I have plunged into following my dreams thanks to coaching. The first was a solo bicycle trip all the way from Oregon to Washington DC, then to Boston. A coach, Gloria, showed me she believed in me – that I was big enough to begin and complete this dream I’d held since I was 10 years old.

Next, Gloria also was my coach in marrying Bill. She helped me see what I honestly wanted underneath my doubt, fear, rules, and limited thinking after having been divorced.

Third, Toastmasters, the organization that encourages public speaking skills became a coach to me. Club members believing in and encouraging me helped me bring forth the speaker dream .

The fourth plunge came when I hired Mai, an intuitive, hard truth coach. Still a software programmer/analyst, I yearned to spend more time with people and less with bits and bytes. I needed help extracting myself from the deep trench of that career.  I had chronic illnesses due to stress, no self-esteem, no idea who I could be… Through working with this coach, I said goodbye to computers and commutes and chose coaching as my profession.

I’ve been coached into my big dreams and making difficult choices. I want the same for the men, women, and young people who work with me.

I’ve coached for 10 years.    I am owner of Emerging Brilliance -in the San Francisco bay area.  I do Co-Active Coaching (a true partnership with clients), Life Purpose work, workshops,  and speeches.

In 2008 I was selected to be a Quest Coach for The Coaches Training Institute’s new program.
